there isn't really much known about the author. he practiced criminal law for about a decade and 'close to society' is his first novel, published four years after he began writing it. during his time as a trial lawyer, an unfortunate incident got him serious about traveling. 'close to scoiety' tells nine different stories all leading to unexpected events, which reflects his experience while he traveled in some of the most interesting cities. these stories include: anathema, the once and former whore of monte carlo, the vodka experience, chris martin’s amsterdam or amsterdam lines, ‘o wi-fi, where art thou?’, urban legend, ghost stories, a dispute over 100 barrels of rum and the riviera affaire.
